Parlor by Haides is a full service barbershop, salon and brand located in Surrey, BC. Regarded as one of the best shops in the industry and Lower Mainland, Parlor by Haides prides itself on its high quality service, unique experience, strong, healthy team culture and growth driven processes to grow it’s team.

Parlor by Haides is looking to expand its team by hiring an apprentice or junior hair stylist to add to it’s team. A successful candidate should be someone who is personable and friendly with an outgoing personality. This includes experience working with women’s haircutting and colour services.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Ability to perform services such as haircuts and colour services including balayages, full and half head highlights, toners and men’s colour services including full bleach outs 
• Operate and maintain personal booking schedule
• Knowledge of hair products used for client services
• Ensure cleanliness, organization and sanitation of station and shop floor area
• Endorse retail products and promotions by providing information and benefits.
• Overseeing daily safety and sanitization checklists
• Providing excellent customer service throughout hours of operation
• Key holder duties including opening and closing
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certification or Diploma Graduate from licensed hair schools or institute
• Previous Salon Experience 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently within a team oriented environment
• Strong communication skills including verbal and written
